Teaching career to many may seem easy and a good line of work, but the lifelong path has its own challenges. The paper tackles some of the reason why teachers quit, from low salary, lack of respect and emotional stress. The papers concludes on ways in which these factors can be tackled and help in reducing the high percentage of teachers leaving teaching career to do other duties.Causes of teacher attrition are still a complex reason. The reason for this is because of certain factors that contribute to these attritions. In the U.S main reasons include low salary, in these life and era, salary is a big concerned to many since high percentage of taxes and most of the time a teacher usually spends with students and other school related activities means t hey should be paid good salary (Janelle Cox, 2016). Lack of respect to these teachers also contributes to their quitting, In California; a teacher decides to quit jus to go to a small private school reason being that, no need was there to be in a class where stress and fear was in the atmosphere of a class filled and packed with almost 38 students (Cynthia Kopkowski, 2016).Emotional stress and personal reasons are the major key factors that contribute in teachersà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ reasons for quitting. Emotional stress and being overworked in the classrooms leads to one being exhausted and overwhelmed with the many hours at school. A lot of emotional energy is poured to their work and quick exhausting is experienced together with frustrations involved during the day.While many teachers quit, some also have reasons of staying and enduring the career in teaching. One of the key reasons why some teachers prefer to hold on is the passion for teaching and being there to fulfill their dreams and as well as that of others.
